Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Pre and Post-Op Registered Nurse (RN).

Ideal candidates hold ADN or Diploma RN, active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS within specified timelines; BSN and PACU/ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma RN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN License or Compact License deemed by the OK State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for medical/surgical patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Serves in a resource role when oriented and as directed.
• Supports the organization’s vision and mission.
