Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

• Directs and supervises staff in the department and promotes harmonious relationships among nursing personnel, medical staff, and patients/families.
• Provides care to a specific patient group and evaluates quality of care to improve outcomes, within budget and hospital policies.
