Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as an Operating Room Circulator in Rutherfordton, NC. This full-time, on-site role supports safe, efficient surgical operations in a patient-centered environment.

You will perform pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments, collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, ensure thorough documentation, and help maintain high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina State License or Compact License with North Carolina endorsement
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Associate’s degree in nursing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Surgery and Operating Room Circulation

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to uphold patient safety
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to support seamless operational flow
• Provide age- and procedure-appropriate nursing care throughout the perioperative process
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in medical records
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to achieve superior patient outcomes

Education

Associate’s degree in nursing

Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
