Job summary

AdventHealth in Hinsdale, IL seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a full range of NM procedures, ensure equipment quality, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient care. The role requires knowledge of Cerner, Radworks, PACS, and ASRT credentials.

Required licenses include BLS/CPR and RT(N) or CNMT, with strong English communication, multitasking, and patient care skills. This is a full-time, day-shift position in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human physiology is required.
• Knowledge of Scintigraphic equipment and processing stations is required.
• Knowledge of Hot Lab equipment is required.
• Ability to learn and master image quality and radiation safety; required.
• Must read, write and speak conversational English; required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment meets quality control requirements and performs patient examinations.
• Collaborates with radiologists to ensure imaging quality and patient care continuity.
• Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures with camera acquisition and processing.
• Maintains room readiness and documents work orders for malfunctioning equipment.
• Plans and manages data entry into Nuclear Medicine Information System and Order Communication System.
