Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in chemical/biological sciences with 24 semester hours of science courses including 6 chemistry, 6 biology, and 12 in related sciences.
• 0–6 months of related laboratory experience.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate and high complexity testing under supervision.
• Conducts routine laboratory testing and quality control procedures.
• Maintains instrument performance and participates in preventive maintenance.
• Reports critical and abnormal results to providers and documents results in LIS.
• Troubleshoots instrumentation and communicates technical information to staff.
