Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Urology Medical Assistant to join a physician-led care team. The MA provides patient care and administrative support, enters history into the EMR, takes vital signs, prepares exam rooms, manages inventory, and coordinates referrals and orders with pharmacies, labs, and imaging.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic EMR and Microsoft Office knowledge, and BLS within 14 days of hire; preferred CMA or RMA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic EMR and Microsoft Office knowledge
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

• Enters medical history into EMR and reports, and files claims
• Greet patients, escort to exam room, take vital signs, and support visit
• Sterilizes and prepares instruments, keeps exam rooms clean and ready
• Maintains inventory and stocks supplies for exam rooms
• Handles referrals and insurance authorizations and passes information to pharmacies/labs
