Singing River Health System in Mississippi is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to perform clinical and administrative tasks under direct supervision of physicians and intermediary staff. The MA will assist with front office duties and patient care management at Singing River Medical Clinics - Cedar Lake and Ocean Springs Hospital.

Education includes a high school diploma; ABHES/CAAHEP MA program preferred. CMA or RMA certification preferred with ongoing BCLS and de-escalation training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ABHES or CAAHEP Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification as CMA/RMA preferred; must maintain certification.

Responsabilités

• Performs a reasonable scope of clinical and administrative tasks under the supervision of the Physician, PA, NP, or RN.
• Assists front office personnel as directed by the Practice/Office Manager.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification within 90 days of hire and maintain appropriate de-escalation training.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards.
