Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to perform clinical and administrative tasks under the direct supervision of the physician or designee at Singing River Gulfport Hospital. Qualifications

• Minimum of one year customer service experience in registration, scheduling, and insurance verification.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credentials preferred.
• ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a reasonable scope of clinical and administrative tasks under physician supervision.
• Assist front office personnel as directed by the Practice/Office Manager.
• Adhere to safety, privacy, and quality standards in patient care and administrative duties.
