Singing River Health System invites you to join our Cedar Lake and Ocean Springs clinics as a Medical Assistant. In a supportive team, you will perform clinical and administrative tasks under the supervision of physicians, PAs, NPs, or RNs, and assist front office staff to keep patient flow smooth.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, MA program completion (ABHES/CAAHEP preferred), CMA or RMA certification, and at least one year of customer service experience; de-escalation training

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; MA program preferred.
• 1 year customer service experience in registration, scheduling, and insurance verification.
• 1 year CMA preferred; CMA/RMA certifications maintained as applicable.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS; de-escalation training within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform clinical and administrative tasks delegated by physician and/or intermediary staff.
• Assist front office personnel as directed by Practice/Office Manager.
• Support patient care management under supervision of PA/NP/RN.
