Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver patient-centered care. You will collaborate with staff to create a welcoming environment, assist with medication management, patient monitoring, and administrative tasks to support smooth clinic flow.

The role runs from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Ideal candidates graduate from an approved Medical Assisting Program and hold BLS certification; externship or clinical experience is valued, with MA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Medical Assisting Program.
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association within new hire period.
• Completion of a clinical externship OR extensive clinical experience.
• Preferred MA Certification and completion of Cleveland Clinic Externship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication management, patient monitoring, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with staff to create a welcoming, comfortable environment for patients, families and visitors.
• Assist in pre-visit planning and maintain exam areas and equipment.
• Support patient registration, scheduling and data entry as part of clinic operations.
