Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for the Jesup Clinic. This part-time, day-shift position (24 hours per week, M-F) supports a clinical practice by performing administrative and clinical tasks, assisting providers, and ensuring a smooth patient flow.

The role requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; MA certification/registration is preferred before hire and must be obtained within one year, or an accredited LPN program with Iowa licensure may be eligible.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certified/Registered MA preferred before hire and must occur within one year.
• OR must have completed an accredited LPN program with an Iowa license.
• Licensure requirements must be met for the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and healthcare providers in delivering patient care.
• Prepare patients and collect vital signs and documentation.
• Perform basic clinical procedures as directed.
• Coordinate patient flow and maintain accurate medical records.
