Job summary

We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Materials Specialist (South) in Milwaukee, WI. This role focuses on warehouse and storage yard operations, order fulfillment, receipt and restocking of materials, and inventory control using the ERP system.

The position requires at least three years in warehouse work with powered industrial trucks or related experience, a valid driver's license (CDL Class B may be required), and the ability to work within a team while following DOT

Qualifications

Three years of warehouse and powered industrial truck experience or an Order Picker with greater than one year of experience.
Valid driver's license and meet company driving requirements; some units may require CDL within 90 days.
Residence within 40 driving miles of headquarters and possible relocation within 12 months.

Responsibilities

Perform warehouse and storage yard operations.
Fulfill daily orders, receive, put away, restock and disburse materials using ERP.
Inspect trailers, pre-load and stage material; support procurement when needed.
Identify damaged or incorrect shipments and report discrepancies.
Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct physical counts.
Ensure proper material handling, labeling, and DOT compliance.
Provide onsite customer service and safe handling of oversized materials.
