Standard Electric Supply Co. in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations. You will pick, pack, ship, receive, and put away products, verify inventory, and prepare orders for shipment while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, previous warehouse experience, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment. This is a full-time position with a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift or other warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.

Responsibilities

• General warehousing duties include staging and receiving incoming shipments, picking customer orders, and shipping orders according to customer requirements.
• Gain necessary knowledge to identify and utilize best way shipping methods to guarantee on time delivery and prevent damage.
• Prepare customer shipments by packaging products securely and accurately to meet quality and customer standards.
• Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored in their designated locations.
• Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles and warehouse storage areas.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while performing all tasks.
