Job summary

Shearer's Foods in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Manufacturing Material Handler for the day shift (6:45am–7:00pm) on a 2-2-3 rotation. You will ensure accurate changeovers, box orders, correct labels, and verify product specs. Pay rate is $18.64 per hour.

You must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 15 pounds, and follow GMP/SQF safety guidelines while maintaining housekeeping and communicating shift needs to the PMO.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to follow simple instructions.
• Stand for extended periods and move/lift up to 15 pounds.
• Adherence to GMP/SQF food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify changeovers to perform during shift.
• Order boxes from the warehouse and verify labels.
• Ensure correct case labels match product specs.
• Check expiration dates on bags and labels for each changeover.
• Keep the area clean and communicate numbers to the next shift.
