Job summary

Packaging Services Industries, Inc. in McAdoo, PA, seeks a Material Handler for a full-time role with a Monday–Thursday 6:00am–3:30pm schedule and Friday 6:00am–10:00am.

You will load, unload and move materials and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment in a safe manufacturing environment. Experience with forklift operation is preferred; candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Safety first mentality.
• 3–5 years forklift operator/material handler experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work core schedules: Mon–Thu 6:00 am–3:30 pm and Fri 6:00 am–10:00 am; overtime as needed.
• Knowledge of safe forklift operations.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds.
• Physical ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods.
• Physical ability to bend, reach, stoop, crouch or kneel for extended periods.
• General knowledge of computer and barcode scanning systems.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, store and transport materials and finished goods within the facility.
• Operate fork trucks, turret trucks, manual pallet jacks, and powered pallet jacks.
• Move materials manually when required.
• Maintain safe, efficient material handling and attendance.
