Job summary

Atkore International in Tampa, FL is seeking a Material Handler II (Day shift) to support manufacturing operations. You will pack finished goods, monitor product quality, assist in start-up or changeover tasks, and keep the work area clean and organized.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and preferred experience in manufacturing or general labor. You must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Bundle pipe according to inventory and shipping specifications.
• Update hour by hour boards and compare colors, shapes, textures or grades of products or material with templates or samples to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Operate and observe machinery during production, assist with Quality Control duties utilizing quality tools.
• Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.
