Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a full-time warehouse associate in Houston, TX. The role requires operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and related equipment to move materials and support production lines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (HSE preferred).
• 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role; warehouse or manufacturing experience a plus.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50–75 lbs. periodically.
• Proficiency with electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Ability to work in varying environments (including cold).
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
• Weigh, measure, and inspect raw materials according to work orders.
• Load, unload, and move crates, boxes, and materials within the plant, yard, or work site.
• Sort, check, and distribute kits and components to production lines with accuracy.
• Load/unload trailers between the main site and off-site distribution center.
• Verify and sign for inbound freight from suppliers; clean and label materials.
• Use hand tools to open containers and assist operators/inspectors.
• Operate elevators and other equipment to assist product movement.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
