Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Auburn, WA is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to operate a forklift, receive and ship materials, and support production. You will move materials between buildings, verify orders, and help maintain inventory accuracy.

The role requires basic English, ability to read production paperwork, lift up to 75 pounds, and comply with safety procedures. Team players will thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent Friday/Saturday overtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak simple English in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read production tags, paperwork, safety labels and communicate with coworkers.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch and convert to decimal.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow instructions.
• Ability to prioritize work tasks according to production requirements.
• Knowledge of safety practices and production procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supports production lines by determining order sequence and completion.
• Receives order paperwork and verbal requests, records information.
• Orders materials from extrusion and other areas; delivers to production lines.
• Prioritizes orders and determines delivery sequence.
• Unloads materials from cargo containers and moves materials to re-use areas.
• Communicates with internal customers and records order information.
• Operates forklift safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
