Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 for the day shift in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on assembling and troubleshooting complex systems to ensure quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, using precision tools, and writing daily pass downs. The position is onsite, contract-based, with a pay range of $26.00/hr and possible overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years hands-on experience assembling and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Willingness to work overtime, holidays and weekends as required.
• Associates degree in technical engineering or experience in Technical Field Service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and troubleshoot complex systems following work instructions.
• Read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Use precision tools (torque wrenches, DMMs, height standards) as required.
• Record daily pass downs and build data.
• Help troubleshoot with Manufacturing Engineers to resolve issues.
• Identify safety and process improvement opportunities.
• Disassemble and pack systems for shipment.
