Job summary

Primary Talent Partners has a 4 month contract opening for an Engineering Assembly Technician to join a national life sciences company for an onsite position operating out of San Jose, CA.

Pay: $25.00/hr. Contract: 4 months, extensions likely, conversion possible. Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or visa sponsorship; no PTO or benefits; ACA compliant medical package available for enrollment. Shift: Day shift M-F 8am–5pm (training 9am first months).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience assembling electromechanical devices and/or electrical components.
• Experience in Manufacturing, especially in an ESD environment.

Responsibilities

• Building electrical assemblies, PM kits, sub level assembly, etc.
• Performs component assembly, solders components, connectors and mechanical assemblies.
• Assembling and testing complex components and devices consisting of numerous mechanical and electrical components.
• Perform in-process inspections.
• Assembling kits using required packaging materials
• Working with engineers for new product implementation
• Assisting with packaging/skidding items for shipment to customer sites
• Assembly the skins of the device before crating process.
• Crate device for shipping process.
• Other tasks that are assigned.

Education

High School Degree or equivalent
