Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and deliver high-quality mammography studies. You will greet patients, verify requests, and cooperate with the care team to ensure patient comfort and safety.

The role requires radiologic technology training, CT license, and ARRT Mammography certification. Experience in acute care settings is preferred, with emphasis on patient communication and image optimization.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of Radiologic Technology program; Associate's degree or higher required.
• Licensure: Connecticut Radiology license.
• Certification: ARRT and Mammography certification.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in mammography preferred in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, confirms identity and imaging requests, and notes special instructions.
• Positions patients and images with proper compression and breath-hold guidance.
• Maintains image quality by following standards and retakes when needed.
• Communicates with staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient comfort.
