Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform breast imaging and ensure high-quality mammograms for diagnosis. The role emphasizes patient comfort, accurate positioning, and adherence to imaging standards.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, CT Radiology license, and ARRT Mammography certification, with at least two years of mammography experience in an acute care setting. Excellent teamwork and patient care are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology.
• Connecticut Radiology license.
• ARRT and Mammography Certification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in mammography in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients by confirming identification and imaging request.
• Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties and explaining procedures.
• Positions breasts, sets exposure factors and captures mammography images according to protocol.
• Maintains image quality by following standards, observes results, and retakes when needed.
