Job summary

Trinity Health’s Breast Imaging Center in Michigan is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic breast imaging, adhere to QA/QC standards, and support accreditation requirements. You will work the day shift, ensuring patient comfort and high-quality exams.

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, an allied health associate degree, ARRT mammography certification or registry eligibility, and a valid BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Allied Health required.
• Completion of CAHEA approved school of Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT Mammography certification preferred or registry-eligible; must achieve certification within 6 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification required; maintain 24 CEC in two years and 15 CEC in Mammography within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine breast imaging with optimal diagnostic quality.
• Maintain compliance with Trinity Health Breast Imaging Center policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates competency in advanced breast imaging techniques (spot compression, magnification, lesion localization, implants, specimen imaging).
• Performs and documents accreditation testing per agencies (ACR, State MI, MQSA).
• Reports QA/QC issues and documents corrective actions taken.
• Participates in department meetings, orientation, and quality assurance programs.
• Involvement with committees related to women's health.
