Atterro in Fernley, NV is seeking a Maintenance Technician for direct hire. This role keeps equipment running, troubleshoots issues, and performs preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure safety and production targets.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm with a pay rate of $30.00 per hour. The position offers hands-on training and collaboration with maintenance and operations teams to optimize plant performance.

Formación

• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and preventative maintenance practices.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining equipment and performing scheduled PM tasks.
• Interacting with other departments.
• Repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
• Maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems of the plant.
• Inspection of operating machines and equipment for conformance and operational standards.
• Perform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Helping to develop/implement new methods and procedures for continuous process improvement.
• Discuss equipment needs and modifications with Maintenance Manager.
• Willingness for any training for better maintenance procedures, to improve work performance, and to help understand company policies and procedures.
• Participate in environmental compliance activities and maintain appropriate records.
• Help training new employees.
• Assist in writing documentation on equipment for procedure of trouble shooting and maintenance.
