Job summary

AMSOIL INC. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations at the AMSOIL Center in Superior, Wisconsin.

You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while supporting production line changeovers and equipment setup. With an Associate degree and 5+ years in maintenance, you will read schematics, work with PLCs and motor controls, and utilize Limble CMMS to document activities and manage work orders.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Automation, or related field (or equivalent training/experience).
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in industrial mechanical, electrical, HVAC, facilities, or related trades.
• Experience in manufacturing/high-volume production environments.
• Experience with PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems preferred.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Support production line changeovers and equipment setup.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Maintain and repair production equipment, material handling equipment, and facility systems.
• Support HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and general facility maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Safety, and Quality teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Utilize CMMS software to document maintenance activities and manage work orders.
