Moraine Court Supportive Living seeks a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This entry-level, full-time role supports everyday upkeep, safety, and a welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff, with day shift and on-call opportunities.

You will perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on building systems, drywall and painting, floor care, and exterior grounds, assist with preventative tasks, and help with turnovers while maintaining accurate records and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair techniques.
• Drywall repair and painting experience required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment
• Complete drywall repairs, patching, painting, and touch-up work as needed throughout the community
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs and scheduled inspections
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors, common areas, and exterior grounds
• Support garbage removal and proper waste disposal procedures
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and community needs
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
• Assist with apartment turnovers and preparation of residences for new move-ins
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and community standards
• Participate in on-call coverage and emergency response as needed
