Qualifications

• Reads and interprets safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Writes routine reports and correspondence.
• Speaks effectively before customers or employees.
• Performs basic arithmetic including rate, ratio, and decimals.
• Reads blueprints and schematics.
• Operates a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs all raw fruit processing equipment.
• Maintains and repairs packaging equipment.
• Rebuilds and maintains equipment per specifications, pumps, gear boxes, drives, and conveyors.
• Troubleshoots and repairs hydraulic systems.
• Analyzes problems related to equipment.
• Sets up and starts equipment, lubricates machinery, and changes over for product changes.
