Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Maintenance Electrician based in Lee's Summit, MO. This day shift position operates from 6:45am to 7:00pm on a 2-2-3 schedule, with weekend rotation.

Weekly pay starts up to $37.80 per hour and benefits begin on day one, including Medical, Dental, Vision and 401(k) with company match. As a Maintenance Electrician you will troubleshoot, maintain and repair electrical, mechanical and processing systems on production equipment and facilities.

Qualifications

• Two year Associate Degree in electrical related field is a plus.
• A minimum of five years industrial maintenance electrician experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Must be able to interact professionally with managers, staff, vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair systems using electrical, mechanical and processing skills.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment and building.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and electrical schematics for installations.
• Install, inspect and repair wiring, conduits, switch boxes, lighting and electrical components.
• Test equipment for continuity, current, voltage and resistance; maintain test records.
• Maintain switchgear, transformers, meters, regulators and related control systems.
• Calibrate instrumentation as required and train production staff.
