Job summary

Miller Industries is seeking individuals to set up and operate saw fabrication machinery, reading blueprints and parts lists to build prototypes and parts to engineering drawings. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a climate-controlled manufacturing setting.

You'll work with computers and machines, perform precise measurements, and contribute to ongoing product development in a leading towing and recovery equipment company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to operate saws. Knowledge of welding practices is valuable. Must be able to build prototypes and custom parts/machinery to engineering drawings with close tolerances.
• Must be able to utilize various measuring devices, interpret blueprints and use shop math.
• Basic math is needed due to the technological needs of many fabrication parts.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
