The LPN maintains patient flow, assists with procedures, and provides education and follow-up instructions. A valid LPN license, NCLEX-PN, and BLS are required; ambulatory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited LPN/LVN program completion required.
• One to two years of ambulatory nursing experience preferred.
• Current, active LPN/LVN license and NCLEX-PN completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers and RNs in delivering direct patient care.
• Room patients, record vital signs and health information.
• Administer medications and immunizations per scope.
• Collect blood specimens and perform basic tests.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist with examinations.
• Educate patients and provide follow-up instructions.
