DeCoach Recovery Centre in Dayton, OH is hiring a Full-time Day Shift LPN to provide hands-on nursing care in our residential treatment program, administer medications under physician/NP direction, and support medical assessments.

Join a collaborative, compassionate team focused on helping clients recover from addiction. Experience in addiction treatment is a plus but not required; strong clinical judgment, communication, and comfort with electronic charting are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in addiction treatment, behavioral health, or psychiatric nursing is a plus — but not required if you bring the right mindset.
• Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
• A team player with great communication skills
• Genuine compassion and a nonjudgmental approach to patients facing substance use disorders
• Comfort with computer-based documentation systems

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care to clients in our residential treatment program
• Administer medications and treatments under physician/NP direction
• Monitor vitals and health status, flagging concerns to the medical team early
• Support intake, screenings, and medical assessments for new clients
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to build individualized treatment plans
• Educate clients on medication adherence and healthy lifestyle habits
• Contribute ideas in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
