Elder Homestead Community in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for day shifts. This full‑time role offers Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with occasional weekends and a competitive pay range based on years of experience, from $30.15 to $33.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as an LPN in the state of practice.
• Effective communicator with staff, families, and outside agencies.
• Ability to prioritize duties and manage time effectively.
• Customer service‑oriented with knowledge of successful customer service techniques.
• Ability to interpret residents’ charts, orders, and plans of care.

Responsibilities

• Listen to shift report and maintain open communication with supervisor and oncoming shift.
• Make rounds to observe residents’ physical and psychosocial status.
• Assign personnel to meet resident needs.
• Ensure unit staff and volunteers carry out assignments per plan.
• Maintain competence in required skills within the facility.
• Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medications, treatments, and observations.
