Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Lab Technician (1st shift) to perform authorized laboratory testing in line with SOPs, GMP, CLIA, and company policies. You will support sample management, test performance, quality control, result reporting, and equipment maintenance to ensure accurate, timely results.

The role reports to the Laboratory Supervisor and requires a Bachelor’s degree in a biomedical field, strong attention to detail, data integrity, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a biomedical discipline or medical technology.
• Must read, follow and apply SOPs with complete records.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, compliance and data integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical/problem-solving.
• Proficiency with PCs and applicable software; follow testing deviations.
• Preferred MT/MLT certification and related lab training experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform high/moderate complexity lab testing per SOPs and regulations.
• Support sample management, QC, result review and reporting.
• Maintain equipment, calibration and recordkeeping.
• Identify issues impacting test performance and notify management.
• Participate in Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
