Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and upkeep inside client buildings. The role requires flexibility to adapt to different tasks per client specifications, with duties ranging from floor care to restroom maintenance.

The position pays $12 per hour and offers weekly pay, with a schedule of Mon-Sun 6am–11am. Training is provided, and prior janitorial experience is welcomed but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a janitorial type position.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans for disposal; use of a compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned by the scope of work or customer needs
