Job summary

Quad Westampton, NJ is seeking experienced Inserting Operators to ensure safe, efficient operation, make-ready, quality control, and training. The role emphasizes adherence to Quad procedures and maintaining documentation related to inserting operations, with professional communication to internal and external customers.

The position is a day-shift of 12 hours (7am-7pm). Starting salary is $21.55 per hour, with potential increases based on experience and knowledge of our equipment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of inserting experience.
• Knowledge of CMC high speed inserters and MCS inkjet equipment helpful.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands Job Instructions, Formatted sample, machine templates, and Make-ready/sign-off procedures.
• Performs Daily Preventative Maintenance on assigned inserter equipment.
• Responsible for the safe and effective operation of assigned insert equipment.
• Performs Quality Checks on products.
• Provides training and direction to newly hired or promoted insert crewmembers.
• Responsible for maintaining production standards.
• Follows all established safety procedures and guidelines.
• Maintains job-related records and inputs production into Quad systems as required.
• Manages self-development.
• Acts in safety programs and maintains a safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
