Quad Westampton, NJ is seeking experienced Inserting Operators. This role covers 12-hour day shifts from 7am to 7pm, with starting pay at $21.55 per hour and potential for higher based on experience and equipment knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of inserting experience.
• Knowledge of CMC high speed inserters and MCS inkjet equipment helpful.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow Job Instructions, templates and make-ready procedures.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on inserter equipment.
• Safely operate assigned insert equipment and maintain production standards.
• Conduct quality checks on products.
• Train and direct newly hired insert crewmembers.
• Maintain production records and input data into Quad systems.
• Participate in safety programs and maintain a safe work environment.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Quad Westampton, NJ is looking for experienced Inserting Operators. This role ensures effective operation including safety, make-ready, quality, production, training, and basic maintenance. Utilizes all Quad procedures, and maintains required paperwork relating to inserting operation. Communicates professionally with all internal and external customers.This position directly helps Quad drive profitability by reducing the cost of errors through consistent work quality and improved efficiencies. Inserting position is day shift 12-hours (7am-7pm). Starting salary is $21.55 but willing to go higher based off experience and knowledge of our equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reads and understands Job Instructions, Formatted sample, machine templates, and Make-ready/sign-off procedures
• Performs Daily Preventative Maintenance on assigned inserter equipment
• Responsible for the safe and effective operation of assigned insert equipment.
• Performs Quality Checks on products.
• Provides training and direction to newly hired or promoted insert crewmembers.
• Responsible for maintaining production standards
• Follows all established safety procedures and guidelines.
• Maintains job-related records and inputs production into Quad systems as required.
• Manages self-development
• Actively participates in safety programs, follows safety policies and procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS (Specific knowledge, skills, education, and abilities):

• 2-3 years of Inserting Experience
• Knowledge of CMC high speed inserters and MCS inkjet equipment helpful
• Strong mechanical aptitude
