Job summary

PCI Group in Pineville, NC is seeking an Inserting Operator to produce inserted materials per Standard Work Processes, meeting quality and efficiency goals on a Mon-Wed schedule.

Responsibilities include following procedures, operating and troubleshooting inserting equipment (Pitney Bowes or Bell and Howell), maintaining logs, coordinating with presses and shipping, and upholding safety and 5S standards. Requires high school diploma or GED, attention to detail, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High attention to details and accuracy in inserting materials.
• Ability to read and follow Standard Work Procedures and tickets.
• Basic computer skills to complete logs and paperwork.
• Previous experience in a mail facility or inserting environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Work Procedures and QC procedures.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot inserting machine as needed.
• Complete logs, checklists and computer functions per Standard Processes.
• Coordinate with adjacent departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Understand machine capabilities to achieve optimal print quality.
• Maintain 5S and safety standards, and participate in continuous improvements.
