Logan Health Behavioral Health seeks a full-time Mental Health Technician to support our inpatient unit in Kalispell, MT. You will provide compassionate care, supervise patients, and document behaviors to support individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, residential mental health experience, and certifications (RQI/BLS) within specified timelines. The role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a residential, psychiatric, or mental health facility is required or highly preferred.
• RQI Responder (BLS) certification within 7 days of hire.
• De-escalation training within 12 months of hire.
• Cultural awareness relevant to mental health treatment is preferred.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and supervision to patients/clients and document behaviors.
• Support and promote individualized treatment plans within a safe environment.
• Facilitate group activities and encourage patient engagement and participation.
• Perform basic patient care under supervision and accurately update the medical record.
• Identify at-risk patients and help develop safety plans as needed.
