Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to support our Building Envelope plant in Houston, TX. You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, with a 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday–Friday schedule.

Join a team focused on reliability and safety while delivering high-quality manufacturing outcomes. The role requires a high school diploma and 5+ years in industrial maintenance, plus experience with power transmission, hydraulics, PLCs, and CMMS usage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5+ years in industrial maintenance (preventive and corrective).
• Experience with power transmission, lubrication, hydraulics/pneumatics, DC/AC circuits, PLCs.
• CMMS experience for work orders.
• Certifications in mechanical/industrial fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic inspections and checks of equipment to identify issues.
• Assemble and disassemble machines for repairs and parts replacement.
• Troubleshoot equipment to identify root causes and recommended actions.
• Identify failed components and required spare parts.
• Interact professionally with production and plant teammates.
• Use CMMS to receive work instructions and document work performed.
• Comply with safety and environmental protocols.
• Locate spare parts and manage storeroom stock.
• Maintain organized toolbox and shared tools.
