Job summary

Flex-O-Glass, a plastics manufacturer, seeks a maintenance mechanic to support our Dixon, IL plant. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, focusing on keeping production equipment operating efficiently through preventive maintenance and repairs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of maintenance/electrical experience in an industrial setting, can read schematics, and communicate issues clearly. Pre-employment screening applies, including background and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend schematics.

• Willingness to work nights or weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining production equipment to optimize operation via preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Complete maintenance logs and administrative documents.
• Troubleshoot in industrial electrical systems including A/C & D/C motors and drives.
• Read and comprehend schematics; diagnose hydraulics and pneumatic/mechanical failures.
