Job summary

Grillo’s is seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, repair, and optimize our industrial machinery to ensure continuous operation. You will respond to trouble calls, perform preventative maintenance, and document activities while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Technical or vocational training preferred.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of industrial machinery.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to prevent equipment downtime.
• Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks, accurately and timely.
• Receive work from manager and carry out assigned duties timely and accurately.
• Respond to breakdown trouble calls, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment or process failures.
• Collaborate with operations personnel to minimize downtime and ensure efficient production.
• Dismantle, repair and reassemble gear boxes, conveyors, pumps, cylinders, valves, drives, etc.
• Read electrical schematics/ mechanical blueprints.
• Maintain company documentation as needed.
