Job summary

You will work with licensed nurses to provide safe patient care, perform delegated tasks, and monitor patients under supervision. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA/PCT certification or current enrollment, active KS certification, and BLS within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of approved CNA/PCT certification program or enrolled with limited time left in program.
• Active State of Kansas certification and BLS within 14 days of hire.
• ER: EMT Basic substitution may apply for CNA/PCT certification; paramedic license may fulfill requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with licensed nurses to support safe, compassionate patient care.
• Under supervision of a licensed nurse, perform delegated tasks and demonstrate skills for age-specific patients.
• Record data according to policy and report patient observations and concerns.
• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding) and support patient monitoring.
• Complete unit-based competencies and validations to perform assigned duties.
