Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital is seeking an Imaging Care Technician to support the CT department's imaging workflows and patient care under supervision. The role involves verifying patient information, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with transfers and post-procedure tasks.

Day shift, full-time position (36 hours/week) requires a high school diploma and patient-care orientation. Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and attention to detail are essential for success.

Formación

• HS Diploma required.
• Six (6) months of previous related patient care experience preferred.
• Formal department orientation must be completed to meet quality standards.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and colleagues is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare exam room and assist transfers to/from modality table.
• Orient patient and family to waiting and changing areas.
• Prepare patient for exam and verify identity and study to be performed.
• Collect patient information from chart, including diagnosis and allergies.
• Conduct modality-specific interviews and prepare forms as directed.
• Assist with venipuncture, IVs and routine oxygen therapy as needed.
• Record data in PACS/RIS and other hospital systems.
• Transport patients as required and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Maintain annual BLS certification.
