Riverstone of Mankato is seeking a Day Shift Housekeeping Assistant to join our caring community. This full-time, onsite role supports resident comfort by performing daily cleaning tasks, adhering to infection control and safety procedures, and coordinating with nursing staff as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean resident areas, common spaces, and facilities to a high standard, lifting up to 50 pounds, and supporting a Platinum Service approach that puts residents and families

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily housekeeping functions and follow safety precautions and infection control procedures.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing staff when performing routine cleaning in resident areas.
• Maintain clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive work areas and facilities.
• Dispose of PPE in accordance with sanitation procedures.
• Ensure adequate supplies to perform daily tasks and keep closets organized.
• Assist others in lifting heavy equipment, supplies, etc.
• Clean furnishings, fixtures, and surfaces in resident rooms and common areas daily.
• Remove water marks and sanitize bathroom fixtures; clean windows and mirrors.
• Sweep, mop, disinfect, and vacuum floors; clean walls and ceilings as needed.
• Ensure areas are properly stored and secured at end of day.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
