Autumn Glen Senior Living in Coon Rapids, MN is hiring a Housekeeping Assistant for part-time, onsite work. The role supports daily housekeeping tasks, adheres to safety and infection-control guidelines, and collaborates with nursing staff to ensure a clean, comfortable environment for residents.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas; handling supplies; and assisting with safe patient handling as needed.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Ability to work with ill, disabled, elderly residents and communicate effectively with staff, residents and families.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks and follow safety precautions and infection control procedures.
• Coordinate cleaning with nursing services when in resident areas.
• Maintain clean, safe, and attractive living and common areas.
• Manage supplies and equipment and store them properly.
• Assist with lifting heavy items as directed.
• Keep floors and surfaces clean, including bathrooms, windows, walls, and furnishings.
• Follow all policies and procedures and contribute to a positive resident experience.
