Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols, infection control and safety in long-term care is valued but not required; training provided.
• Compassionate and empathetic; team player.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing resident rooms and common areas.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms, kitchens and common areas.
• Dispose of trash and waste properly.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff to maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and staff.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as buffing machines and vacuums.
