You will clean resident rooms and common areas, sanitize bathrooms, restock supplies, operate cleaning equipment, and follow infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols, infection control and safety in long-term care is valued; training provided.
• Compassionate and empathetic by nature.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing common areas and resident rooms.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Dispose of trash and waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff to maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and staff.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as buffing machines and vacuums.
