Job summary

The role offers a dayshift schedule, pay rate $28.66-$32.88 per hour based on experience, and a contingent employment type with potential pathway to hire. AAS/BS degree and ASCP certification required, with 1 year of lab experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, or BS/BA in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry.
• ASCP National Medical Technologist Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience; high-complexity testing preferred.
• Knowledge of Hematology and Coagulation procedures.
• Strong QC/QA knowledge and laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen analysis and testing per SOPs.
• Review, verify, and release laboratory results accurately.
• Conduct testing in Hematology and Coagulation.
• Maintain quality control records, calibrations, instrument maintenance, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot testing issues and implement corrective actions.
• Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety requirements.
• Report STAT and critical results per procedures.
• Participate in training and regulatory inspections.
