Job summary

Zeeco seeks a Heavy Fabrication Manufacturing Lead to guide day shift welders in the heavy fabrication bay, modeling excellence and ensuring successful outcomes. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency while coordinating with engineering and support teams.

The role requires reading blueprints, overseeing ITPs, and enforcing Zeeco Quality Standards. Expect a proactive, hands-on leader focused on training, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy fabrication welding is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and inspection plans.
• Strong emphasis on safety and housekeeping.
• Ability to multi-task and supervise shifts.
• Self-motivated; able to work without instruction.

Responsibilities

• Lead day shift welders in the heavy fabrication bay.
• Hold toolbox talks each shift and monitor area capacity / load.
• Ensure quality of product and monitor safety.
• Review drawings to identify issues before fabrication.
• Provide tools, materials, guidance, and training as needed.
• Report absences, overtime, and near misses as required.
