Zeeco seeks a Night Shift Working Lead to manage and hands-on lead the night shift in fabrication and welding of burners, flares, and related components. You will set priorities, ensure safety, and address on-floor workflow, quality, and process issues.

The role emphasizes welding experience, with room for candidates from machine shop or entry manufacturing backgrounds. Leadership, safety, and Lean practices are central to daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience required; welding experience strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in a lead, acting lead, or informal supervisory role preferred.
• Experience in welding, fabrication, machine shop operations, or first-entry manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and welding symbols.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to lead by example.
• Basic computer skills for production tracking and reporting.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles preferred.
• Experience with Solomon or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside production employees in the fabrication and welding of burners, flares, incinerators, and related components during night shift operations.
• Serve as the primary on-floor lead, providing direction, job assignments, and real-time problem solving to meet production schedules.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with quality standards, drawings, and welding procedures.
• Promote and maintain HSE compliance, including proper use of PPE and adherence to safety policies.
• Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and communicate issues or needs to supervision.
• Support training and onboarding of new employees; mentor less experienced team members.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of equipment, tools, and processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts, including lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide input on employee performance and elevate attendance, performance, or conduct issues as needed.
